Carson retires from Greater Cleveland Chamber

A statement from the GCCOC Board of Directors:

The Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors would like to announce the retirement of Chamber VP and Chief Operating Officer, Jim Carson. During his 6-year contract, Jim played an essential role in reestablishing the Chamber, both financially and operationally. He has worked well with each year’s board of directors, and his diverse background has benefited the Chamber in many positive ways. Because of his leadership and focus, the financial status of the Chamber is in a significantly better position than when he was hired in 2015, and he has helped initiate several positive changes within the organization. The current board of directors would like to thank Jim for his hard work and years of service to the Greater Cleveland community and business members. We wish him the very best in his future endeavors.
