Summer Reading Special Events
Summer is nearly here, and Liberty Municipal Library cannot wait to get Summer Reading Program 2021 underway! This year’s theme is ‘Tails and Tales!’ and families with children of all ages will want to follow the Library in the upcoming weeks as we share possible prizes, crafts, and special events we are planning just for them!
The six-week summer program will be beginning June 14th and will include two really fun digital events from some of your favorite past performers. The hilarious Julian Franklin will be performing a variety show for families that will include puppets, original songs, and magic tricks --- he might even try and teach us a few! Musician Will Parker will also be performing for us again this summer! He will be carrying out a musical program with original titles such as ‘Amanda the Dancing Panda’ and ‘Why am I not a Monkey,’ ideal for eager to dance little ones and their families.
Be sure and follow the library for program dates. Summer Reading participants who tune into our digital programs will get an extra opportunity to put their name in the end of the program participation drawing.
