Highwaters caused a stir off Evergreen Road on the county’s north end.
Liberty County once again was hit with a deluge of water after severe storms made their way through the area late last week. The heaviest areas were on the county’s northside, with waters rising in several places. The rains caused water in areas already impacted by flooding to rise across the county. FEMA is now offering assistance to those impacted by the recent flooding.
