DOWNING PASSES BOARD CERTIFICATION

Douglas Downing with Sullins & Johnston recently became Liberty County’s newest board-certified attorney. Downing applied for Board Certification with the Texas Board of Legal Specialization around March 2022. He was then approved to take the exam in July and sat for the exam on Oct. 3.
On Jan. 9, Downing received the good news that he passed the exam and is now Board Certified in Child Welfare Law. There are only 123 Board Certified Child Welfare Law Attorneys in Texas.
