“Bless this Mess” a huge success

DAYTON — The Dayton Enhancement Committee sponsored the second trash pickup of the spring on May 1and the response was amazing. The event was called “BLESS THIS MESS” and was led by committee members Ken Davis and Cynthia Miller.

Pastor Davis rallied with youth groups from the surrounding area and other organizations.

Included in this fellowship were: Calvary Baptist, First Methodist Dayton, Journey Fellowship, First Assembly of God, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, New Life Fellowship Kenefick, DHS football team, Dayton Rotary, First Liberty Bank Dayton, The City of Dayton, and Randel Arnold State Farm.

The event kicked off with prayer and after picking up approximately 75 bags of trash, Randel Arnold State Farm ordered 30 pizzas which fed the 70 plus volunteers.
