School Nutrition Hosts Annual Christmas Party
As the joyous season envelops us in its warmth, the school nutrition staff gathered for a festive Christmas party filled with laughter, camaraderie and gratitude.
In a cozy setting adorned with festive decorations, the dedicated Dayton Independent School District team celebrated not only the end of a successful semester but also the nourishing spirit they bring to our students every day.
They had a friendly table-decorating contest.
The staff brought out their decorating talents and were excited that every campus participated.
Although the ballots are still being counted, Carlton Robertson, our favorite School Nutrition Director, awarded Kimmie Brown and Dayton High School managers Debbie Johnson and Margie Padilla and their staff with well-deserved awards for their outstanding work during this year's TDA audit.
The staff had lots of fun and exchanged stories, shared delicious holiday treats, and took a moment to appreciate the hard work and dedication that each member of the nutrition staff contributes to ensuring our students receive nutritious and wholesome meals.
As we enter the celebration season, let us give praise and show gratitude to the invaluable role our nutrition team plays in creating a healthy and vibrant school community.
Wishing everyone a joyous holiday season and a well-deserved break.
