Liberty recognizes American Red Cross Month

LIBERTY — March is American Red Cross Month, recognizing the heroes and work that goes into that organization’s mission to serve the people in times of disaster. At Tuesday’s Liberty City Council meeting, Mayor Carl Pickett honored the organization with a proclamation. Bubba Haley with the American Red Cross of Southeast & Deep East Texas was on hand to address the council and receive the honor from the mayor.
