Trivium Club holds April meeting

The Trivium Club of Liberty met on April 12 at the DAR meeting room, Hostesses Susan Daniel, Gloria Stratton, and Sandy Pickett prepared Easter themed refreshments.

The nominating committee presented the slate of officers for the next two years as follows: President-Alana Inman, 1st Vice President – Julie Hubley; 2nd Vice President – Debbie Dugger; Treasurer – Julie Hebert; Recording Secretary – Roberta Thornton; Corresponding Secretary – Beverly Davis; Reporter – Margaret Gardzina; Parliamentarian – Misty Riley. The new officers were supported by acclamation and will be installed in May.

Scholarship chair Amy Milentz announced two recipients will be honored. Landon Riley, son of President Misty Riley and Cameron Payne, son of Ange Payne have been selected.

Following the business meeting, member enjoyed a book review of Where the Crawdads Sing led by Vice President Becky Spears and members participated in a discussion of the book.

The final club meeting of the year will be a salad supper on May 10 in the home of Ange Payne.
