Dayton Rotary Inducts Another New Member!

The Dayton Rotary Club welcomed another new member to their group this past week. Haleigh Shanks is coming from the financial world. She is the Assistant Director of Mortgage Services with First Liberty National Bank. President Rachel Ansley turned the induction over to long- time Rotarian Bill Buchanan who gave the history of Rotary International and discussed many of their world-wide projects. The long-time Rotarian refl ected on the six International Rotary Conferences that he has attended along with the impact these conferences had on him. Buchanan reminded the club members that the Rotary is one of the largest service organizations in the world. The club’s mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through [ the] fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
