Third Annual Community Day planning underway
ANAHUAC – Organizers with the Anahuac Masonic Lodge #995 are looking forward to a fun-filled time with friends, family, and the community.
Enjoy family time at Anahuac Masonic Lodge's Third Annual Community Day. The event will be Saturday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fort Anahuac Park.
The event has doubled over its first two years, from 300 attendees and only seven vendors in year one to over 600 attendees and 31 vendors in year two. Organizers are hoping to make this year the biggest and best yet.
The event includes many fun opportunities for the whole family, such as free admission and delicious hotdogs.
There will also be bounce houses and activities for kids to enjoy, a dedicated area for kids five and under, and many local vendors to provide you with goodies.
"We started Community Day because there was a need for a fun, family-friendly event that could be enjoyed by everyone," Randall Decker, Master at the Anahuac Masonic Lodge #995, said.
There will be free 12x12 booths for local vendors. There will be commercial vendors and advertising space available as well.
Sponsorships are also available. A Bronze Sponsor is $50, which includes stage recognition and newsletter and social media recognition. A Silver Sponsor is $150, which includes a 2x3 banner located at event sponsored, stage recognition and newsletter and social media recognition.
A Gold Sponsor is $300, which includes a 3x5 banner located at the entrance, a 2x3 banner located at the event sponsored, logo on advertisement flyer, stage recognition and newsletter and social media recognition.
"Community day grew beyond what we planned last year and we are hoping to continue the success this year and hopefully many years to come," Decker said.
Bring your friends and family together as a community and enjoy a fun-filled day. As this event continues to grow, so will the community and its strength.
