Merry Extension Christmas Returns

    Kids played a variety of games offered by various organizations during the comeback of Merry Extension Christmas.

ANAHUAC – The Merry Extension Christmas event made a comeback Dec. 17 after being absent for four years and was enjoyed by about 150 kids and adults alike. 

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service Chambers County sponsored the event at White's Park, offering a variety of activities, including cookie decoration, coloring booths, temporary tattoos, free photos with Santa and giveaways.  

Chambers County Public Health was on hand offering free flu shots, as well. 

Entities who featured fun and informative booths included Chambers County Library System, Chambers County EMS, Barbers Hill 4-H, Mid Chambers 4-H, Barbers Hill 4-H Shooting Team, Making Memories for Myles, Bay Area Turning Point, Anahuac Wildlife Refuge, Marcelous-Williams Resource Center, Chambers County FCH Committee, Rollo Insurance, United Way, Gator Country, Hearts & Hands of Baytown and Coastal Gateway.
