Barbers Hill wins in Louisiana 70-65
LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA – The Barbers Hill Eagles traveled to McNeese State University on Saturday afternoon and met up with Natchitoches Central out of Natchitoches, Louisiana, in a non-district contest.
Barbers Hill returned home with a nice 70-65 win over the Chiefs in a solid contest for both squads.
Earlier in the week, on Wednesday, the Eagles dropped a four-overtime heartbreaker to Cinco Ranch 80-75.
Barbers Hill took a 74-72 lead in the fourth overtime on an Aidan Williams bucket.
Cinco Ranch got a Prince Jones-Bynum three-pointer to move in front 75-74 before a free throw by the Eagles Wesley Wake tied the game at 75-apiece.
Cinco Ranch then scored the game's final five points to win.
This weekend, the Eagles will host their own Gulf Coast Classic.
