FRESH PRESH LEMONADE RIBBON CUTTING
Dayton Chamber of Commerce is having a ribbon cutting for Fresh Press Lemonade Tx on Thursday, June 22, at 3 pm. This event will be held at Dayton Community Center.
TASTE OF DAYTON
The Taste of Dayton business expo with a yummy twist is set for Thursday, June 22, from 4 to 7 pm. There will be food, raffle prizes to win, and tons of fun. Plus, Community Resource Credit Union is bringing a photo booth to capture all the fun, so be sure to gather your friends and family and strike a pose! Admission is only $5 for adults and $2 for children aged 12 and under, so bring the whole gang for all the fun and excitement!
VALLEY PLAYERS
The Valley Players is presenting a show called “A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.” This event will take place on June 23 through June 24 at 7p and June 25 at 2p as well as June 30 through July 1 at 7p and July 2 at 2p. OLIVE BETHEL 76 HOMECOMING
Olive Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will be hosting its 76 Annual Homecoming Celebration. This event will be held on Sunday, June 25, at 11 am. SUMMER READING PROGRAM
Jones Public Library is hosting a Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is All Together Now and we’ll be focusing on the community. Registration opens up on June 26 and continues through July 7. Join them at the library on July 3rd from 2 pm to 4 pm for an Opening Day Block Party. Activities will be held daily throughout the month of July, and a calendar of events can be viewed at the library. FAMILY FEAST DAY
Sacred Heart Catholic Church is having its Family Feast Day and Fundraiser on June 25 from 10 am to 4 pm. Beef Tip Dinners will be served from 10 am to 2 pm, but feel free to stay until 4 pm. The City of Cleveland and the Greater Cleveland Chamber will have a Food Truck Fusion on Thursday, June 29, from 11 am to 1 pm. This event will be held at 102 Campbell St., Cleveland.

EAST FORK RV RESORT RIBBON CUTTING East Fork RV Resort will host a Family Day celebrating of their Phase 2 Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting on Saturday, July 1, from 11 am to 3 pm. The Ribbon Cutting will be at noon. This event will be held at 1626 HWY 59 S., Cleveland.
CLEVELAND 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION
The City of Cleveland will have its 4th of July Celebration on Saturday, July 1, beginning at 7 pm. There will be live music from Tomfoolery Band as well as fireworks at dark. This event will be held at Indians Stadium.
DAYTON CELEBRATES THE 4TH The City of Dayton is hosting its first Fourth of July Celebration with an evening of fun activities for the entire family. The Bicycle Parade kicks off the fun at 6 p.m., followed by live music, food trucks, petting zoo, ax throwing, Gelly ball foam party, dunking booth and games all at 6:30 p.m. Finally, the night is capped off with the fireworks show at 9 p.m. The event is sponsored by the city, Dayton Chamber, Dayton Economic Development Corporation, Community Resource Credit Union and Mc-Coy’s Building Supply. All of the activities will be held at the Dayton Community Center at 801 S. Cleveland St.
LIBERTY COUNTY GOP MEETING The Liberty County Republic Party will host their Quarterly meeting on Tuesday, July 13. They will host Charlie Zhang of The Epoch Times Houston Office. Charlie will introduce attendees to the Epoch Times Media Publication, answer any questions about the publication, and offer subscriptions. MOTH NIGHT OUT
Trinity River Refuge invites you and a friend to their Annual Moth Night Out on Saturday, July 29, starting around 9 pm. The Refuge has surpassed the 1,000 species mark, as finding the new species is getting difficult. Fortunately, 18 new ones have been discovered in 2023. The date has been changed due to Stuart being selected as a Board of Directors for the Lepidopterists' Society which will have the annual meeting the week before this moth night out event. The Trinity River Refuge hopes to see many of you and your friends attend.
BACK TO SCHOOL SPECTACULAR The City of Cleveland will host their annual Back to School Spectacular on August 4 from 5 to 7 pm. This event will allow students from Kindergarten to fifth grade to get lots of free school supplies to stock up before the start of the school year. To receive these supplies, the child must be present. The event will be held at the Cleveland Civic Center.
CONVERSATIONS & BREAKFAST Pastor Ken Davis from Calvary Baptist Church in Dayton invites everyone to talk to him or pray with him on Friday mornings from 8:30 am to 12 pm at MacDonald’s. You bring the conversation, and he buys the breakfast. You are also more than welcome to send him a Facebook message to leave a prayer request for him.
FIRST SUNDAY JAM
The first Sunday of each month, Cleveland VFW is sponsoring “The First Sunday” jam hosted by the Loose Change Band from 1–5 pm. Bring your axe and your talent. Musicians wanted. There will be food available.

YARN CLUB

The Family Church in Hardin hosts Celebrate Recovery, a weekly class every Tuesday at 7 pm. If you know someone who needs this class, please share this information with them.
