Hull- Daisetta is hosting a Family Fun Friday on Dec. 1 from 5 to 9 p. m. The Grinch Parade starts at the Hull- Daisetta High School parking lot, and the Visit from Santa begins after the parade inside the pavilion. The night’s last event is at the Daisetta City Pavilion parking lot, where “ How the Grinch Stole Christmas “ will be shown.
DONUTS WITH SANTA
On Saturday, Dec. 2, Calvary Baptist Church of Dayton will host Donuts with Santa from 8:30- 10:30 a. m. Kids and families can take pictures with Santa, make a craft, play a game, and enjoy a donut. SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS EVENT The City of Dayton invites the community to their Spirit of Christmas Event on Dec. 2 at the Dayton Community Center. The fun kicks off at 11 a. m. with the Nutcracker Market, followed by activities such as live music and other events. The parade will start at 6 p. m., followed by the Tree Lighting at 7 p. m.
HOMETOWN CHRISTMAS
The City of Cleveland is hosting its annual Hometown Christmas on Dec. 2 from 10 a. m. to 5 p. m. at the Cleveland Civic Center. There will be vendors, live entertainment, a kids’ zone, food trucks, and a downtown lighted parade starting at 6 p. m.

Raywood’s Big Christmas Giveaway is Saturday, Dec. 16, from 12 p. m. to 1 p. m. at Langtree Retreat Center, 2825 County Rd 190 in Liberty. 2024 DAYTON FIRE/ POLICE MUSEUM CALENDARS
The new 2024 calendars featuring Dayton’s Volunteer Fire Department and Police Department have arrived and are available for purchase. Photos included are Frank’s Café fire in 1998, the Dayton VFD fleet of firetrucks in the 1950s and 2017, a group photo of firefighters in the 1990s and 2017, and cameo photos. The Price of the calendar is $ 15, with proceeds going to benefit the future Fire/Police Museum. Two hundred calendars are available, and they are sure to sell out quickly.
