TUFF KIDS BBQ FUNDRAISER
Tuff Kids is hosting a BBQ Fundraiser for pick up at 12 pm on Friday, March 18 at 1009 Green Ave Cleveland, Tx 77327. You must pre-order by Thursday at 5 pm. Linney-Acie Cemetery Association is having two cemetery clean-up days. The first will be Saturday, March 19th and the second will be Saturday, April 2nd. Both days will be from 8 am until noon. LHS SPRING PEP RALLY
Liberty Panthers put on your Black and Gold and come on out to Memorial Stadium for Liberty High School’s Spring Pep Rally on Wednesday March 23rd at 6:00 to celebrate all spring sports. You will meet the teams along with Liberty ISD’s new Athletic Director, Chris Lackey. There will performances by the LHS Band, Cheerleaders, Prancers, Choir along with games, activities and food.

BAKELESS BAKE SALE
Although the Jubilee will take place this year, due to price increases of ingredients, etc., Friends of the Library will once again have the Bakeless Bake Sale, which has been a success for the past two years. Donations of any amount may be mailed to Beverly Davis at 1711 Webster Street Liberty, Texas 77575-4752 or dropped in the mail slot at the front door. Donations may also be dropped off at the library. Make checks out to the Friends of the Library. They will be accepted now through April 1st. All the money goes to the library for activities such as the Summer Reading Program and supplies throughout the year. The annual book sale will take place on the library’s second floor on March 25 and 26 during the Jubilee.
BLOOD DRIVE
First United Methodist Church Liberty and Life Share Blood Centers will be hosting a blood drive Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, in the Fellowship Hall, 539 Main Street, Liberty. Anyone who has not donated whole blood in the last 56 days, or double red cells in the last 112 days, is eligible. By donating blood, you are truly giving the gift of life. VALLEY PLAYER AUDITIONS
Auditions for The Valley Players upcoming musical “9 to 5” will be held on Sunday, March 20 at 4 pm and Monday, March 21 at 6 pm. High school age and adults are welcome and needed. The American Legion Dayton Memorial Post 512 will be holding a Blood Drive Monday, March 21, from 9 am to 1:30 pm. Donors will receive a free t-shirt, plus a ticket to Big Rivers Water Park and Adventures. Register in advance at www.giveblood.org. They ask that you eat, drink and bring ID. KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FISH FRY
The Liberty Knights of Columbus will have their annual fish fry, with all the trimmings, on Fridays during lent at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 411 Milam St in Liberty, Texas. This will be TAKEOUT/DRIVE THROUGH ONLY, and it will be held on March 4, 11, 18,25, and April 1 and 8 from 5 to 7 pm. Enter off Milam St and exit onto Austin St. The cost is $15 per plate.

Lily Of The Valley Baptist Church is having a BBQ Cook-Off on April 2nd.
