DEWEYVILLE – The Deweyville Pirates dominated Friday’s district clash with the Hull-Daisetta Bobcats, 48- 0. HD’s problems began before the game got underway when senior leader Logan Smith was thought to have broken a hand. He did not play. His teammates did play with all their heart and determination. In that respect, Bobcat fans in attendance were entertained. The Pirates scored on their first three possessions. After the Bobcats were shut down on the game’s first possession, the Pirates drove 65 yards for the first TD.
